Finishing Your Book

We hope you’re ready for a BIG FINISH, because that’s what you will get in the Worzalla Finishing Department. Sewing, stitching, perfect and notch binding, hard-cover, paperback, jackets, embellishments and enhancements – all to help your book get the attention it deserves. Worzalla has you covered — from a budget-friendly paperback product to the high end coffee table style, and everything in between.

We offer a variety of ways to put your book together. End sheets are applied to the book block prior to casing-in, and can be plain white, made from colored stock, or printed.

Smyth Sew binding chain stitches sections of your book together.

Side sew binding makes for a very durable, child friendly book and is a very popular binding style. There is a reinforcing tape added to the end sheets before sewing to make it durable. However, please pay attention to the margin requirements as a the side sew will pinch!

Perfect binding is an adhesive paperback. There is also a Perfect hard case. The Perfect hard case gets a capping to go over the adhesive before the hard case is put on.
